Frends already has a growing base of ISV (Independent Software Vendor) customers, and we see significant growth potential in this segment. To capture this opportunity, we are investing in a dedicated ISV sales function—starting with the recruitment of a proven leader to serve as our ISV Sales Director. This is a leadership position from day one, with full responsibility for building and leading the ISV sales function. The initial focus will be on EMEA, and as we succeed, we will expand globally in line with our strategy.

📝 About the Role
As our ISV Sales Director, you will:
- Lead from Day One: Join Frends’ sales leadership team immediately, with full responsibility for establishing, building, and leading the new ISV sales function.
- Build and Scale: Lay the foundation for Frends’ ISV sales, recruit and develop your team as we grow.
- Drive New Business: Take a hands-on approach to acquiring and growing ISV customers—this is a pure sales leadership role, not a partner manager position.
- Shape Strategy: Develop and execute our EMEA ISV go-to-market strategy, with the opportunity to expand your impact globally as the department grows.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Frends’ CRO, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver value for ISV customers.

📝 What you bring
- Proven results in ISV solution sales to technology industries—demonstrated success as an individual contributor with quota achievement, pipeline generation, new business wins, and a deep understanding of how to position, sell, and grow ISV accounts (not just managing partners).
- Hands-on hunter mentality: You thrive on outbound prospecting, building your own pipeline, and winning new logos.
- Leadership experience is a strong plus: You may have led teams or initiatives, but what matters most is your readiness and ability to take on a leadership role and build a high-performing sales function.
- Strategic and operational: You can set the vision and execute the plan, balancing high-level thinking with day-to-day sales activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage C-level and technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of technology companies: You understand how technology companies develop their products and the integration challenges they face (a strong plus).
- Understanding of integration technology: Familiarity with SaaS or PaaS solutions, ideally also iPaaS, and a natural curiosity toward technical solutions.
- Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).
- Based in Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, UK, or similar) with the ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
- Experience in EMEA markets is highly valued; a global mindset for future expansion.
