Frends is growing and as a result, we’re now looking to strengthen our Solution Support team by hiring a Support Engineer to work with the Frends eiPaaS platform solution support.
Solution Support team is responsible for maintaining customer integration environments and integration solutions globally within the Service Level Agreement (SLA), specific to each customer. The team members handle customer issues and service requests via the customer interface and Jira. In addition, we offer customers consultation on problem-solving, best practices, and solution models in conjunction with Frends product development.
Your daily work tasks include:
- problem-solving and incident management within SLAs, as well as resolving questions relating to implementations
- installation and configuration of environments
- takeover, support, and continuous development of integration solutions, especially the error handling features and health checks
- continuous communication with the customer's technical people and our project teams, as our internal stakeholders
- prioritize tasks according to the SLAs

The team is expected to proactively share input and improvement ideas to internal stakeholders, analyse trends within customer solutions, suggest and perform improvements within your area of expertise – or initiate the change, when needed. Also, we maintain many different technical documents and instructions.
You will become part of a core team of five people, where work will be divided according to each team member’s expertise and interests. In addition to the core team, the work is carried out closely with service managers, developers, Frends R&D and our customers' system managers.
We appreciate:
- Good skills in IT systems; Proven track record of supporting IT infrastructure
- Problem solving –mindset
- Ability to work independently in fast paced environment
- Work experience in SLA or customer facing support team
- Motivation to learn more and develop your own skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English 
- Interest in: integrations / integration platforms and databases; cloud platforms, containers and scripting; C# or other programming languages
